Brazilian Town celebrates Orgasm Day



A Brazilian town has just celebrated its first Orgasm Day.

The small town of Esperantina marked the day with lectures about sex, impotence and the importance of orgasm.A free production of The Vagina Monologues was also put on at the local theatre for residents. Town mayor Felipe Santolia told Terra Noticias Populares: "I think that the orgasm issue is a very important and modern one."


Indeed it is.

Back Again.

Life intervened, as it has this horrible tendency to; I had a couple of stays in hospital and had to confine my online activity to commenting bad-temperedly on other blogs.

I have been prodded back ito activity by an invitation to guestblog at Progressive Gold. With luck this will satisfy my politics jones and I can confine this blog to interesting pictures of squid, ephemera of various types, plus the perennial topics of food and the way the Dutch have local noses, for local people, and weird taste in clothes.I don't rule out the occasional anti-Blair or Bush fuckup rant though.

So to get the show back on the round, I give you this:
